Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue

Course Description: | A 5-day course designed to give candidates the skills to climb and manoeuvre safely within a trees canopy and to be able to perform an aerial rescue. |
Suitable For: | Candidates who are required to access and work in trees using rope and harness, rescue an injured climer from the crown of a tree or from a standing pole and are currently inexperienced in climbing trees. Prepares the candidates to take an assessment for City & Guilds NPTC CS38 |
Pre-Requisites: | No other courses are required before attending CS38 |
Duration/Format: | 5 days split between classroom and on site. |
Times: | 9.00am to 5.00pm daily. |

Equipment Needs: | Candidates will need to bring one passport sized photograph for your City & Guilds NPTC photo I.D. card. A waterproof coat and over-trousers (course will continue even in rain). All other equipment needed will be provided. You may bring your own climbing equipment but it must be LOLER complient. This will be checked on the first day. |

Notes: | Candidates will need to bring their own packed lunch. Hot drinks will be provided for the duration of the course, free of charge. |
