  • Big Rescue Event

    The Big Rescue Event 2018 is a training day with a difference. Primarily it’s aimed at climbers that already hold the NPTC 206/306 (old CS38) ticket and would benefit from a days refresher. Secondly all money raised from the event is being donated to the Air Ambulance Service.

  • DART - Caribbean Deployment

    Read about Richard's voluntary deployment to Dominica in response to the devastation caused by Hurricane IRMA across the Caribbean, DART International had been requested to deploy a team to the islands to help with the relief effort. The first team of highly skilled Arborists (all volunteers) left the UK fully equipped to be self-sufficient during their deployment. They cleared damaged trees and debris working alongside “Rescue Global” and playing their part in the regional reconstruction plan.

    As well as providing immediate relief, the highly skilled Arborists also be worked in collaboration with local authorities and volunteers to train local people in safe use of chainsaws and tree clearance. This helped other communities affected by the disaster and improve resilience against these events in future.
